THE
STORY.

Before the songs, the stages and the name LILO,
there was already a story unfolding.

LILO / ABOUT / 2026
The Artist

WHO IS
LILO?

Music · Movement · Instinct

A creative soul shaped by depth, sensitivity and an instinctive sense of rhythm.

LILO has been drawn to music and movement from an early age. At just four years old, he began taking dance classes and putting on music and dance shows at home for family and friends, performing to the artists who inspired him.

Today, his own sound moves freely between Pop, TrapSoul, R&B, Soul, Trap and Hip-Hop, reflecting a wide musical vocabulary rather than a single genre.

That same artistic instinct extends beyond the music — into fashion, movement, visual storytelling and an obsessive eye for the details that make a scene, a performance or a feeling come alive.

LILO's sensitivity to the world has become one of his greatest creative strengths. Music and dance gave him a language for things that were difficult to put into words, while intuition has continuously led him toward new ideas and new ways of expressing them.

Rather than limiting himself to one role, LILO has developed skills across the entire creative process — as a singer, rapper, dancer, songwriter, melody writer, producer, mixing and mastering engineer, actor, and video/photo editor.

It allows him to take an idea from a feeling in his head all the way to a finished piece of art.

MAYBE THE STORY
DIDN'T BEGIN
WITH MUSIC.

MAYBE IT BEGAN
WITH SURVIVAL.

Before rhythm became expression, before the first stage and before the name LILO, there was a beginning that almost ended before it had truly started.

ORIGIN.

Nine Days Old

Some stories begin before we are old enough to remember them.

Something wasn't right.

LILO's parents noticed that his breathing kept changing — fast, slow, then fast again. That same morning, they took their nine-day-old son to the hospital.

An X-ray revealed an abnormal third lung growing inside his tiny body, putting increasing pressure on the other two.

Doctors knew they had to act quickly.

The specialist they needed was away on a ski trip in northern Sweden — and had recently broken his leg.

When the hospital reached him, he didn't hesitate.

He took the first available flight back to Stockholm.

Arriving on crutches, he examined the X-rays and decided to operate immediately.

"Luckily, you operate with your hands."

LILO's parents were allowed into the room while their son was put under anesthesia. His father had refused the chair offered to him — until he saw his son fall asleep within seconds and nearly fainted himself.

Then the doors closed.

For five hours, they waited.

Eventually, the doctor appeared behind the glass doors, still on his crutches.

"Take it easy. The operation went very well."

LILO would wake up soon.

His mother was so overwhelmed with relief that she nearly knocked the doctor's crutches from beneath him.

Later, the doctor was so caught up in the moment that he walked away without them. LILO's father picked them up and ran after him.

A few hours later, they were finally allowed to see their son again.

He was alive.

The operation left a large scar across his tiny body. He remained under close observation for around two weeks, followed by regular check-ups throughout his first year.

That scar stayed.
So did the story.

Long before the music, the stages and the name LILO, there was a nine-day-old child fighting for the chance to experience any of it.

Maybe the story didn't begin with music.
Maybe it began with survival.

WHERE IT
STARTED.

LILO & Childhood Friend · Living Room Performance

The Living Room Stage

BEFORE THE
REAL MICS.

Some of LILO's earliest performances happened at home. Music would go on, family and friends would gather, and the living room became a stage.

This archive photograph from 1996 shows LILO and a childhood friend during one of those performances — makeshift microphones in hand, performing for family and friends.

Long before music became a profession, performing was already part of his world.

Dance / Early Years

RHYTHM
CAME
EARLY.

From around four years old, movement became part of everyday life.

LILO trained several times a week in styles including Hip-Hop, street dance, funk and breakdance.

Artists such as Jon Bon Jovi, Seal and George Michael were among his earliest musical inspirations.

Later came Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and NSYNC, artists whose combination of music, movement, performance and visual identity left a lasting impression.

After years of dance training, his teacher Rita recognized both his talent and how quickly he was developing.

Through contacts she had in the United States, she wanted to help send LILO there to attend a professional dance school.

His mother ultimately declined, wanting him to finish school and receive an education in Sweden first.

For the young LILO, it was heartbreaking — but the creative drive never disappeared.

Chapter III

MAKING
RECORDS.

Lyrics · Recording · Stage

Around the age of ten,
Swedish rap opened another door.

LILO began writing lyrics, teaching himself recording software and experimenting with producing his own recordings.

His first home studio was modest: a small two-channel mixer, a JJ Labs microphone, and Cool Edit Pro 2.0 — the first recording program he learned to use.

What started as experimentation soon spread to the people around him. Friends became inspired, joined him in making music, and several of them continue making music today.

Within only a few years of beginning to create his own songs, LILO was already performing them live.

The stage therefore became familiar territory early on — first through dance and performance, and later through his own original music.

Late Teens / Early 20s

50K–200K Views

Independent YouTube uploads, original music and self-created visuals.

By his late teens and around the age of twenty, LILO had entered an especially productive creative period.

Videos he independently uploaded to YouTube reached approximately 50,000–200,000 views, including original music accompanied by a music video he created himself.

DIY Mentality

The equipment changed. The possibilities became bigger. The artistic language became more refined.

But the instinct remained the same.

Chapter IV

BEYOND
MUSIC.

Film · Direction · Creation

Creativity was never limited
to one medium.

In more recent years, LILO stepped away from performing for a period while focusing on other creative ventures and continuing to develop his music and artistic identity behind the scenes.

Working within film and creative production, Daniel Hallberg became a Creative Art Director and coach in film-focused acting — moving between directing, camera work, photography, editing, marketing and the creative process behind a finished production.

Alongside the company's leadership, he helped develop the creative direction of the operation while guiding productions from the first idea to the finished result.

One of those creative chapters included helping build an appreciated film academy — another environment where creativity, leadership, coaching and storytelling could meet.

What began behind the camera would eventually find its way back toward music and the stage.

Chapter V

BECOMING
LILO.

Music · Identity · Expression

Everything eventually
found its way back to music.

Years of music, dance, performance, film, creative direction and storytelling had already shaped the way LILO saw the world.

Music became the place where all of it could exist at once — emotion, image, movement, story and sound.

After a period away from regular live performance while focusing on other creative ventures and further developing his music, LILO has recently begun stepping onto stages again.

Now, he is returning to the stage.
